First Day.

“It’s your Freshman Year”

“Take a deep breath as you walk through the doors it’s the morning of your very first day” Taylor Swifts lyrics to her song “Fifteen” rolled through my mind as I set foot into Stevenson for my very first day of High School. I was saying hello to some friends I haven’t seen in a while but mainly trying to stay out of everyone’s way.
I was nervous and upset I didn’t have any classes with my two best friends. Watching movies with the “high school scene” didn’t help either. They make everything so stereotypical I expected prissy cheerleaders, outstandingly good looking football players and kids to be pushed into lockers left and right while getting their lunch money stolen left and right.
The one thing I wasn’t looking forward to was having Personal Fitness 1st hour. However I did hear wonderful things about my teacher Ms.Hinderliter. Walking into the gym with my friend Kelly 1st thing with very different, everyone was staring at each other and confused on where to go. Then we finally found where we were wanted to sit. We listened to all the rules then we got the swimming lecture, it was on everyone mind. “We will be swimming for 3 weeks”, said Ms. Hinderliter. “ Oh man said Kelly 3 weeks, this is going to be the longest 3 weeks of my life.” “Hmmh maybe we can get sick” I said, then Ms.Hinderliter said if you are sick you fail gym.“ So much for that idea Kelly said. Then I bell rang and broke the awkward silence.
“It’s your freshman year and your gonna be here for the next four years in this town” Taylor Swift sure is right. This is my home for the next 4 years, so I sure hope it gets better and I get more use to it!
